Barrelhouse is bringing the heat this July and August  with events in DC, New York, Chicago, Scranton, and beyond! (Please note: beyond = Arlington, VA). Write this down.

July 11, 8:15pm – Arlington, Virgina - Iota Club & Café – Barrelhouse hosts the Article Press Hour Reading Series. We’ll be presenting a bunch of poems from the latest issue, and maybe a little further back, too.

July 22, 7pm  – Washington, DC - Wonderland Ballroom – Barrelhouse Presents…Dzanc Books featuring Jeff Parker, author of The Taste of Penny, and contributors to Dzanc’s Best of the Web 2010 anthology

July 26, 7pm – New York, New York - KGB Bar - featuring Cristin O’Keefe Aptowicz and others TBA.

July 28 – Chicago, Illinois – Open Books – Barrelhouse and Rose Metal Press present a reading by James Tadd Adcox, Mary Hamilton, Philip Jenks, Tim Jones-Yelvington, and Simone Muench

August 13, 6 PM – Scranton, Pennsylvania – Anthology New and Used Books - Readings by local actors of selections from Barrelhouse #8, The Office Life Edition. You’ll need three American dollars to enter.  (NOTE: New date–Rescheduled from Friday, July 16)
